BITEC SBS modified bitumen membranes are composed of styrene-butadiene-styrene thermoplastic rubber, blended with high-quality distilled asphalt and reinforced with spun-bond polyester fabric or high-strength fiber glass mat. BITEC SBS membranes are manufactured to suit a variety of application methods including hot asphalt, heat welding and cold adhesive.                                   

BITEC APP modified bitumen membranes are composed of select APP (ATACTIC POLYPROPYLENE) synthetic polymers blended with distilled asphalt and reinforced with "spun-bond" polyester fabric. BITEC APP membranes are always installed by heat welding.

MINERAL DESIGN represents a premium product with unique mineral color patterns. Now designers, specification writers and property owners have a new instrument at their disposal for decorating roofs. The special membrane designs allow new and, until now, unforeseen possibilities. With MINERAL DESIGN, low slope and pitched roofs may be enhanced by designs of various contrasting colors, while providing excellent waterproofing qualities.  BITEC produces the MINERAL DESIGN products in both APP (atactic polypropylene) and SBS (styrene butadiene styrene) cap sheets to meet all application method requirements.

All products meet or exceed one or more of the following ASTM Standards: D1970, D6162, D6163, D6164, D6222 or D6223, Type I, Grade "G" or Grade "S".
